Today marks the start of the APM Charity Show 2018. Kicking things off was the Prix St. Georges, which had a total of 7 combinations in the class. Surprisingly, the rounding off the podium was JPEC. In joint first placed was Dara Ninggar Prameswari and Erwin M. Yoga each earning 64.191%. Following the pair came Nadya Zax in third with 63.971%. The dressage riders will compete again on Sunday in the Inter I class as they prepare for the Asian Games 2018.
Another class that started today was the eventing. The three day event saw 13 combinations start off the first day. Currently leading the position is Jojo Jonathan on Gwenn Do Empo from Emporium Horse Club. This isn’t the first time the pair scored high marks in the dressage, they currently lead with 32.6 total penalties. Following in second place is Albert Pelealu with Head for Heights from JB Stables – Budiluhur University. The pair score closely with only 0.4 penalties separating the two combinations. Albert is currently on 33 total penalties. Rounding of the top 3 spots is Jendry Palandeng on Donitri from D’Riders with 34.2 total penalties. Additionally, the first 6 places have little between them so anything can still happen as the competition progresses. Following the dressage will be the cross-country phase, this will take place nearby APM equestrian centre.
